Second of all, here’s a proposition: if you’re gonna be there, I invite you all to freak the fuck out.

This show’s obviously a pretty big deal to the guys and among the fanbase as well… I, personally, am super stoked about this. This show is such a good opportunity for some new fans to be recruited to the world of Empires……….. (I have no idea what I just said, it made sense in my head. Fuck.)

Anyway, here’s my point. I know, you guys, Empires shows are usually pretty chill. A good number of people choose to just stand around and enjoy the music, which is always a good option! But if there’s one show you should get as loud as possible for (actually, apply this to Lolla too!), it should be this one.

Let’s just all go crazy. Seriously. Show the members of the crowd who haven’t heard of Empires what this band is about. Get them interested. I promise, you won’t be the only one. I’m gonna make a jackass out of myself like I always do and just be all over the place. It’s gonna be so fucking great.

Anyway, I should be waiting in line for a few hours beforehand! I hope I see some of your lovely faces there as well… Though we’ll all be soaked from the rain. \m/ We’ll deal.

I will be in Chicago starting Saturday afternoon (so this is clearly fate) minus the fact that said Empires show is sold out and as far as I know, Lincoln Hall is not releasing additional tickets. Is anyone selling TWO (or even just one!) ticket to The Temper Trap/Empires show at Lincoln Hall on Saturday night (March 24)? Please leave a message in my ask if you are!

I decided that I might want to use Midnight Land for my audition on Wednesday, so just for the hell of it I took out the vocals and I can hear the backup vocals really well for the first time and dear lawd, it’s lovely!
